Girls Football Tournament Years 5-6

On Wednesday 9^th November Daisy SH, Esme, Evie, Gaby, Annie, Daisy S, Grace and Millie went to a football tournament on the Beacon astro. We had an amazing time and the result was even better- we came 2nd out of 5 teams, narrowly missing out on coming first. We won 4 out of our 5 matches with the scores being: 4 - 0, 10 -0, 3 - 0 and 2 - 0. We now go through to the finals at Uckfield college on the 30th November. We all enjoyed it very much. We would like to say a big thank you to Mrs Modjesch and Andy for giving up their time to coach us. We would also like to say thank you to Amy Hawkins for driving us to the event. Congratulations girls! You honestly do not know how much this means to not only me, Mr Reardon and Miss Bishop, but also Andy, Oli and the whole of Rotherfield school! This has never happened before for Rotherfield, but you have all worked so hard together and made it happen! For this I am so grateful. The next round is going to be a lot more challenging, but I know with your attitude, ability and strength, together you will make Rotherfield proud! Thank you.
