The children in Jemison class went to The Amelia, in Tunbridge Wells, in order to work towards gaining The Discover Art Award. They were able to look around the museum and art gallery, and saw lots of examples of the arts. They also learned about local artist, George Smart, and then created a piece of art work based on his style. 

It was a wonderful day and the children received lots of lovely comments about their enthusiasm for the arts and their creativity.
