I have worked at Rotherfield School for 20 years, and have been Headteacher for the last 8 years. I am passionate about ensuring children have the best education possible and this includes their mental and physical health too.
I am an ex-officio member of the Governing Body, and these meetings are used to hold myself and the Senior Leadership to account for the performance of the school. I am pleased to work with such a dedicated set of volunteers who work tirelessly for the school.

I have had the privilege of teaching at Rotherfield Primary School for the past 5 years and in other schools across the southeast for the past 11 years. I have contributed to whole school development from a teaching and curriculum perspective and am looking forward to developing my role at Rotherfield as Staff Governor in supporting the school in a strategic direction and working with the governors to make a difference for all of our children.
I am excited to be supporting the school's aims and mission whilst striving towards the high standards in academic achievement and the children's personal development. I am grateful for the opportunity to work alongside our governing body, ensuring that we fulfil our duties to all the children in the school, not only now but for years to come.

I started as the Clerk to Governors at Rotherfield in January 2023. Prior to that, I owned with my Husband, a village Post Office and shop. In July 1996 I obtained a teaching degree and became involved in adult education.
I enjoyed working in education and following my retirement from my business starting working for ESCC as a Clerk to the Governors. I have enjoyed my time at Rotherfield and look forward to helping and supporting the Board of Governors into the future.
