I joined the Governors at Rotherfield in 2021 and have a daughter in primary education within the county.
For 17 years I have worked for an independent Charity that gives people the power to speak up and stop crime 100% anonymously.
I am delighted to be supporting the excellent team at Rotherfield Primary School and look forward to bringing my experience from outside the education sector to the board.

I have worked at Rotherfield School for 20 years, and have been Headteacher for the last 8 years. I am passionate about ensuring children have the best education possible and this includes their mental and physical health too.
I am an ex-officio member of the Governing Body, and these meetings are used to hold myself and the Senior Leadership to account for the performance of the school. I am pleased to work with such a dedicated set of volunteers who work tirelessly for the school.

I have had the privilege of teaching at Rotherfield Primary School for the past 5 years and in other schools across the southeast for the past 11 years. I have contributed to whole school development from a teaching and curriculum perspective and am looking forward to developing my role at Rotherfield as Staff Governor in supporting the school in a strategic direction and working with the governors to make a difference for all of our children.
I am excited to be supporting the school's aims and mission whilst striving towards the high standards in academic achievement and the children's personal development. I am grateful for the opportunity to work alongside our governing body, ensuring that we fulfil our duties to all the children in the school, not only now but for years to come.

I was elected as a Parent Governor in February 2022. I have a daughter in year 6 and a son who attended Rotherfield but is now at college, so I have been a parent of the school for several years now. We have also lived in the village since 2013. My background is in Social Work with children and families, and I now work as Inclusion Manager and Deputy Safeguarding Lead of a large secondary school in Kent. I am link Governor for Safeguarding and SEND. I am passionate about ensuring fair education and opportunity for all.

I joined the governors in 2023 having seen my eldest daughter go through Rotherfield, with my middle daughter there now and the youngest hopefully starting reception in 2024. I am a Financial Planner by trade and have run my business locally for over 10 years now, although I have lived in Crowborough for 40 years. This is my first experience as a school governor and I hope my experience from work can assist the team at Rotherfield and ensure the future remains bright for all of the children.
