Year 6 Residential 2026
Wednesday 29th April
The group had a safe journey up to Marchants Hill, with a stop off to explore the park at a service station. After having lunch they took part in The Giant Swing and Tunnel Trail activities - many children braved their fears. After sorting out their rooms and visiting the shop, they enjoyed lasagne for tea and are now taking part in a variety of games. Mrs Kent has taken their class reading book and is planning to read them a bedtime story!
The wifi is not the strongest so they are struggling to get photos back. I will add photos as and when they arrive.
Tomorrow they are taking part in a range of activities including abseiling, rifle shooting and a silent disco in the evening.
Thursday 30th April
After a few hours sleep they all enjoyed a lovely breakfast - some children may have had 3 servings! This morning they all got to have a go at Rifle Shooting, Mrs Kent scored two bullseyes which has impressed some of the boys. They then all tackled the abseiling tower, working as a team to guide each other down.
